We specialise in joinery. From kitchens, vanities, laundries, robes and more. We custom build all cabinetry to best suit your needs and desired designs from our factory here in Gympie. We partake in both renovations and new builds. We offer a free quoting service and provide you with 3D elevations and plans so you know what you’re getting.

The evolution of Akyrah Kitchens began in 2004, founded by Gary and Lisa Mieran, and has since grown into a leading name in custom cabinetry. Long-term employees Corey and Tanner are now Directors of this well established business, backed by a young and enthusiastic team. Bringing fresh energy and a passion for innovation, they are committed to investing back into the business—continuously improving processes, technology, and design—to fuel its ongoing success. We continue to build on our strong foundation, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and forward-thinking designs.
From the initial design consultation with Corey—either in our showroom or on-site—we guide you every step of the way to bring your dream vision to life.
Operating across two factories, we utilise state-of-the-art machinery, including CNC flatbed routers and edging machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project. However, the backbone of any successful business lies within its workforce. With a team of 35 dedicated professionals, Akyrah Kitchens prides itself on nurturing talent, regularly enrolling apprentices in our training program to cultivate them into skilled Cabinetmakers.
